Our Christmas menu is served from the 1st to the 23rd December. 

We are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Homemade tomato & basil soup, served with a mini tin loaf (V)


Hot chicken, bacon & mushroom salad, with a cranberry & fig dressing


Stilton & walnut twice baked soufflé with mixed leaves (V)


Trio of fish mousse, smoked salmon, prawn & mackerel with a

crème fraiche  & horseradish sauce & a mixed salad


Main Courses


Traditional sliced roast breast of Turkey with Cumberland sausage meat,

chestnut stuffing & pigs in blankets


Port enriched wild game pie of pheasant, rabbit, hare & game birds,

wrapped in short crust pastry with game gravy.


Roasted lamb rump marinated in mint & herbs served with a

port wine sauce  & dauphinoise potatoes


Smoked haddock Mornay served on wilted spinach


Homemade cranberry, vegetable & nut roast, served with

Dauphinoise potatoes & sage & onion gravy (V)



All served with roast & new potatoes & seasonal vegetables



Homemade Drambuie trifle with winter berries.
